What an amazing launch for 'Our Journey' – an anthology of stories written by our talented ESOL students.This beautiful collection features folk tales, personal stories, and insights into the life experiences and cultures of our amazing ESOL learners.With contributions from over 800 of our ESOL students, we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of you.This incredible project is a true testament to how our college community continues to break down barriers to opportunities. #CollegesWeek

It was wonderful to welcome the GM Colleges Specialist Health Board to our Middleton Campus for #CollegesWeek.Today’s theme is ‘build an NHS fit for the future’ – and that’s certainly what drives our Health and Social Care training here at Hopwood Hall!This cutting-edge teaching space mirrors a real hospital ward, with students having access to the latest technology and equipment needed to create the skilled health professionals that will drive the sector forward.These ‘patients’ exhibit realistic eye movements, changes in breathing patterns, and more, which can signify a range of ailments that our students are learning about! #NCW2025

It was a pleasure to welcome Rochdale MP Paul Waugh to campus this #CollegesWeek! Hot on the heels of Rochdale being named Greater Manchester Town of Culture, Paul toured some of our incredible spaces for Creative Arts and Media.This included our film studio, Esports arena and inspiring Art & Design workshops.We were delighted to share how it’s in spaces like these that our expert tutors are really leading the way when it comes to developing the creative skills that make the borough such a hotbed for creative talent! #NCW2025

Digital & IT students took an exciting trip down to London!They visited Bletchley Park where they discovered the site where the Enigma code was cracked during WW2. They also stopped by at The National Museum of Computing and The British Museum. Learners finished the day at Camden Market.As you can see in the video, the trip was very engaging and interactive - it looks like they had so much fun!
